May 11, 2010

May is a month of celebrations starting with May Day and the start of spring (even though we have not seen much of it yet!) Then we have Mother’s Day and Memorial Day and graduations. Most importantly to us, it is NAIW week and we will be celebrating with a proclamation from the mayor and photo op on May 20^th. I hope that you all are able to attend this event.

It is also the month of the election of the new officers to our association and I look forward to working with the new members of our board in the coming year.

I would like to welcome our new member Terri D’Alessio. We are very pleased that you have decided to join our association.

The question of the month is what is the most important life lesson that you Mother taught you?
